Tras la Forty Eight y la Blackline, Harley Davidson me vuelve a sorprender con la nueva Sportster XL 1200C 2011. Una moto que marca en sus líneas el auténtico carácter custom de una Sportster, acompañado de un diseño moderno y robusto. A grandes rasgos ahora también incluye ruedas nuevas, un manillar retrasado y un piloto trasero led de nuevo diseño.
Entre las características de nueva factura destacan el Motor Evolution® V-Twin de 1.200 cc refrigerado por aire, con sistema de inyección de combustible electrónico secuencial (ESPFI) y un par motor de 98 Nm a 3.200 rpm. Por otra parte, el manillar ha sido retrasado y montado con elevadores curvados, acompañado de un panel de testigos LED y un diseño de la clásica visera Sportster sobre el faro delantero. Las renovadas ruedas delantera y trasera tienen unas dimensiones de 16 x 3,0" y equipan los nuevos neumáticos Michelin® Scorcher® 31.
La nueva 1200C incorpora un piloto trasero totalmente renovado en forma y en componentes, usa pilotos leds. Además, la nueva horquilla tiene más espacio entre barras y pletinas pulidas. Los ajustes de la suspensión delantera se han vuelto a ajustar para acoplarse a la nueva combinación de neumático y rueda. El avance es de 105 mm con horquilla delantera de 39 mm con ángulo de inclinación de 30 grados. Entre otros detalles, cabe destacar los pedales adelantados pulidos, asiento biplaza de serie con una altura al suelo de 710 mm, amortiguadores traseros ajustables en precarga y depósito de combustible con una capacidad de 17 litros.
Basándome en la estética,en esta nueva moto desaparece el clásico piloto trasero que han llevado las sporty durante mucho tiempo, lo cual me parece un paso que favorece el cambio y la incorporación de más calidad y personalmente me gusta más que el anterior. Por otro lado, el faro delantero me gusta más sin la visera que esta nueva generación incluye .Estamos hablando de un modelo, claramente renovado respecto a su antecesor, con el que poder disfrutar en la carretera de sus prestaciones y del estilo Harley-Davidson más genuino.

The new 1200C features a completely renovated taillight fit and components, LED drivers use. In addition, the new fork has more space between bars and rods polished. Based on the aesthetic, in this new bike disappears the classic taillight that have allowed the sporty for a long time, which I think is a step that favors the change and the addition of more quality and I personally like more than the previous. On the other hand, I like headlight without the visor which includes the new generation. We're talking about a model, clearly renewed its predecessor, with which to enjoy on the road the performance and the genuine Harley-Davidson´s style.
